Salon de the
Barbizon
L'A Patisserie KG
Franco-Japanese salon de the by starred chef Kunihisa Goto and pastry chef Ayako Kishi. Opened April 2025.
Description
L'A Patisserie KG at 33 Grande Rue is the Barbizon outpost of the celebrated Fontainebleau patisserie. Chef Kunihisa Goto (starred at l'Axel, Fontainebleau) and pastry chef Ayako Kishi bring a franco-Japanese sensibility to a cosy two-level salon de the -- wood, sage green walls, cushioned sofas, wisteria terrasse. Pastries from 7.10 euros, tea and cake formula at 12 euros. Open Wednesday to Sunday 10h to 19h.
Historical context
Kunihisa Goto earned his Michelin star at l'Axel in Fontainebleau. His Barbizon salon, opened in April 2025 with Ayako Kishi, brings that same precision to an intimate tea house format -- matcha-inflected creations, seasonal French pastries, a quiet that feels earned. One of the most exciting recent openings on the Grande Rue.
